HR2000CG-UV-NIR Preconfigured High-resolution Miniature Fiber Optic Spectrometer

Note: This item has been replaced by the HR2000+CG.

The HR2000CG-UV-NIR is preconfigured with an HC-1 composite grating and an order-sorting filter to provide a wavelength range of 200-1100 nm and an optical resolution to 1.0 nm (FWHM) in one spectrometer. The HR2000 is especially suited for applications such as wavelength characterization of lasers and LEDs, monitoring of gases and monochromatic light sources, and determination of elemental atomic emission lines.

The HR2000CG-UV-NIR uses the Sony ILX511 detector and is back for a limited time by popular demand.

Features

  • Wide range (200-1100 nm) broadband spectrometer

  • High resolution (1.0 nm FWHM) over the entire 200 – 1100 nm spectral range

  • Programmable microcontroller

  • Works with SpectraSuite Spectrometer Operating Software, available for Call for Price

200-1100 nm Range, 1.0 nm Resolution

The HR2000+CG Spectrometer utilizes a 5 µm entrance slit, proprietary HC-1 grating and patented order-sorting filter to provide a 200-1100 nm wavelength range and excellent optical resolution (1.0 nm FWHM). This spectrometer combines the "HR" optical bench with the Sony ILX511B 2048-element detector for excellent resolution. The OFLV-200-1100 order-sorting filter is installed to eliminate second- and third-order effects.

Facilitated Operation

The HR2000CG High-resolution Spectrometer interfaces to a handheld, notebook or desktop PC via a USB port or a serial port. Wavelength calibration coefficients unique to each spectrometer are programmed into a memory chip right on the HR2000CG; our spectrometer operating software simply reads these values from the spectrometer. When interfaced to a PC via the USB port, the HR2000CG High-resolution Spectrometer does not require an external power supply -- it draws its power from the computer.

Re-configured Optical Bench

The excellent optical resolution on the HR2000CG High-resolution Spectrometer has been achieved by expanding the optical bench of our S2000 Miniature Fiber Optic Spectrometer to a 1" diameter, 4" focal length (f/4), in a symmetrical crossed Czerny-Turner optical design.
