LaserShield Laser Safety Glasses offer great protection from laser
light without sacrificing visibility or comfort. The glasses are
designed for both direct and diffuse viewing, are EN207-compliant,
and are made using absorptive dyes that maximize color recognition
and visible light transmission (VLT). What's more, the glasses (our
item LASER-GL-YAD) are designed to fit comfortably over prescription

Using Safety Glasses with Ocean Optics Spectrometers
We've selected safety
glasses with wavelength coverage broad enough for many laser
applications, in particular those involving our
Raman and Laser-induced
Breakdown Spectrometers (532 nm, 785 nm and 1064 nm). The filter in
these glasses covers 190-534 nm, 720-1064 nm and 740-1064 nm. See the
tables below for optical density and L-ratings.
