Irradiance
Package Comparison
The series of solar spectrum graphs demonstrate absolute irradiance
measurement capabilities of the USB2000+-RAD Spectroradiometer. The
system did not require in-field NIST-traceable UV/VIS/calibration
since the spectrometer and attached CC3-DA cosine corrector is
pre-calibrated by Ocean Optics and is ready for measurement “out of
the box”
Installation and measurement is fast, accurate and convenient.
“Out of the box” install and measurement procedure:
•
Open the package, remove contents
• Install SpectraSuite software into PC or laptop
• Attach USB cable from Spectrometer to PC/laptop
• Follow Windows install wizard for the USB2000+ spectrometer
• Open SpectraSuite, “File”, “New”,
• Select “New Absolute Irradiance Measurement”
• Select “Get Irradiance Calibration from file”
• Set integration time, measure “Dark”
• Measure irradiance
