Grating Efficiency Curves: HC1 Composite GratingThe HC1 is a revolutionary and proprietary variable blazed grating designed to provide a spectrometer with a broadband wavelength range. When used with the HR4000 High-resolution Spectrometer, the HC-1 enables the HR4000 to be responsive from 200-1050 nm. When used with the QE65000 Scientific-grade Spectrometer, the HC1 enables the QE65000 to be responsive from 200-950 nm. All gratings are free with the purchase of a spectrometer except for the HC1, which retails for around $693. Efficiency Curve for Grating HC1
When the HC1 grating is specified with the HR4000 Spectrometer, we recommend the OFLV-200-1100 Variable Longpass Order-sorting Filter to eliminate second- and third-order effects, and the UV4 Detector Window Upgrade to enhance the spectrometer's performance in the UV. When the HC1 grating is specified with the QE65000 Spectrometer, we recommend the OFLV-QE Variable Longpass Order-sorting Filter to eliminate second- and third-order effects. No UV Detector Window Upgrade is necessary for QE65000 Spectrometers.
