Ultra Short Path Flow Cells

FIA-SMA-FL Fluorescence Flow Cell for Flow Injection AnalysisThe Ultra Short path Flow Cells are designed especially for use for measurements of absorbance and transmission of very low fluid volumes and/or measurement of liquids with a very high opacity. Multiple flow cells can be mounted in a common holder for multichannel operations. Primary applications include the life sciences and process markets such as textiles for dye baths.

Each unit consists of two pieces of fused silica; one with the precision path etched into the glass before fusing. There is a fluidic port on each end of the silica. These flow cells have a 2% pathlength tolerance and a 10-50 µL/sec flow rate (push or pull). Tubing (with fittings) of 1/16-inch OD, 0.03 inches ID are supplied.

The Ultra Short Path Flowcells are available in 100, 200, 500, 1000 and 2000 pathlengths for $1059.
