| HR2000 High-resolution
Miniature Fiber Optic
Spectrometer
The HR2000 has been replaced by the HR4000 Spectrometer, which retails for Call for Price. We upgraded the HR2000 to the HR4000 because of the limited availability of the Sony ILX511 detector used in HR2000-series spectrometers. Modular DesignThe HR2000 Spectrometer measures just 5.85" x 4.13" x 1.65" (LWH) and is the first model of a new line of modular optical bench spectrometers that allow users to select optical bench options such as the detector, grating and entrance aperture (slit). Detector options for this new line of modular optical bench spectrometers include a CCD array, UV CCD array and an array for NIR applications. Grating options include 300, 600, 1200, 1800 and 2400 lines per millimeter gratings; slit options include 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 or 200 mm sizes (or no slit at all). Also, users can select from fiber optic accessories such as light sources, probes and optical fibers to configure a variety of small-footprint, application-specific systems. Turn HR2000 into a Network SpectrometerWhen purchased with the Remora Network Adapter users can communicate with the HR2000 over Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Use with SpectraSuite Software, and turn your device into a network accessible spectrometer. Remotely capture spectral data from anywhere Plus, Remora allows multiple users to access data and experiment settings without the need for additional equipment. Remora's web-interface works with all popular web browsers and allows you to monitor data from a PDA, iPhone, and most internet ready devices. - Learn more AgPlus Mirrors OptionOur high-reflectivity AgPlus Mirrors can be used in the HR2000 bench for high-resolution measurements in low-light level experiments. AgPlus Mirrors have been shown to increase system sensitivity by 10-35% and are available for an additional charge of $290 per pair. Refer to part number SAG+UPG-HR when ordering AgPlus Mirrors for your HR2000 system. Facilitated OperationThe HR2000 High-resolution Spectrometer interfaces to a handheld, notebook or desktop PC via a USB port or a serial port. Wavelength calibration coefficients unique to each spectrometer are programmed into a memory chip right on the HR2000; our spectrometer operating software simply reads these values from the spectrometer. When interfaced to a PC via the USB port, the HR2000 High-resolution Spectrometer does not require an external power supply -- it draws its power from the computer. Re-configured Optical BenchThe excellent optical resolution on
the HR2000 High-resolution Spectrometer has been achieved by expanding
the optical bench of our S2000 Miniature Fiber Optic Spectrometer to a 1" diameter, 4" focal length (f/4),
in a symmetrical crossed
Czerny-Turner optical design.
