Ultraviolet radiation
<300 nm degrades transmission in standard silica fibers, resulting
in solarization (increased light absorption in the UV fiber that can
invalidate data). For applications below 300 nm, we recommend
Solarization-resistant Assemblies. Shorter lengths for Solarization-resistant
Assemblies maximize UV throughput. However, lengths over 2 meters
are available.
