Radiometric Calibration Services

To certify that the absolute irradiance of your emission sources is correct, you should be calibrating the absolute spectral response of your spectroradiometric system against known radiometric standards. Metrology professionals from our Calibration Laboratory will calibrate your Ocean Optics spectrometer or radiometer for absolute irradiance. The calibration will be traceable to either NIST or NPL-traceable radiometric standards or both depending upon the wavelength range required.

The calibration of your spectroradiometric system should be performed on a one year interval to maintain the stated accuracy. The calibration is available in three wavelength regions from 210-2400 nm. Calibration certificates and a CD with the spectrometer calibration data files are included in all Calibration Services.

The Calibration Service can be purchased at the same time you purchase a spectrometer and the service will be completed prior to shipping. Or you can contact Ocean Optics about sending in a previously purchased spectrometer to have it calibrated for absolute irradiance.
