Cuvette Holders for Absorbance and Fluorescence Liquid Sampling Needs
Cuvette holders are available for absorbance and fluorescence sampling, and integrate seamlessly with spectrometers, light sources and optical fibers.
The SQ1-ALL (SQUARE ONE) cuvette holder is designed to hold 1 cm pathlength cuvettes securely for performing optical measurements. Included with each holder are three collimating lenses with fiber optic couplings, integrated mirror to optimize signal reflection, built in cover to block ambient light and two filter holders that accept both 12.5 and 25 mm diameter filters. When used with Ocean Optics spectrometers and light sources, SQUARE ONE is ideal to measure absorbance, fluorescence, scattering or any combination of these optical phenomena.
The CUV-FL-DA cuvette holder attaches to Ocean Optics light sources and couples via optical fiber to our spectrometers, creating a small-footprint system for fluorescence and relative absorbance experiments. The CUV-FL-DA is optimized for the 200-2000 nm range, holds 1 cm pathlength square cuvettes and eliminates the need for a fiber from the excitation or illumination source. A few simple adjustments allow you to use the CUV-FL-DA for absorbance.
The CUV-FL-DA is well suited for fluorescence, thanks to UV-enhanced, aluminum-coated mirrors that enhance signal reflection within the sample compartment. That increased signal reflection, combined with greater signal intensity resulting from direct attachment to the excitation source, provides CUV-FL-DA users with much greater fluorescence intensity than is possible with most cuvette holders.
The CUV-UV cuvette holder for 1-cm pathlength cuvettes couples via optical fibers to Ocean Optics spectrometers and light sources to create small-footprint systems for absolute absorbance measurements of aqueous solutions. The CUV-UV is optimized for applications from 200-2000 nm, has a built-in filter slot and features spring-loaded ball plungers for precise cuvette positioning. Optional covers are available to block ambient light from the sample chamber.
The CUV-UV-10 cuvette holder for 10-cm pathlength cuvettes couples via optical fibers to Ocean Optics spectrometers and light sources to create small-footprint systems for absorbance measurements of aqueous solutions and gases. The CUV-UV-10 is optimized for applications from 200-2000 nm, has a built-in filter slot, and a manual light block for dark readings.
